My Tide

Say you were the tide now
All the footprints people made on my heart
You’ve swabbed and washed away
Like the moon sweeps up after the Sun’s stains
And the sky sparkles like the floor of your tiled kitchen with stars

And for this,
I lose memory, I forget you,
Your heartbeat a cockle shell
I drip the thoughts of others away on the sea foam

And you’re that horizon,
You never end, do you?
